I disagree with Tom Dunn. When you have eggshocks you tighten your trucks untill the top and bottom hat are touching the eggshocks so they always have immediate effect. If you have matrix trucks then the tightening system is easy to use and you can see how much your tightening the springs so you dont get them too tight and bend the spring out of place or too loose so your eggshocks dont touch the top and bottom hats.

After recently buying a Trampa deck with the standard SCrub trucks and elastometers, i decided i wanted to stiffen the trucks up a bit, and bought a set of these egg shocks from this shop. rn These egg\'s do change the stiffness of the board, however they do not fully reach the tops of the springs/tophat. This means that they have no effect on your turns immediatly, they only make a difference when the board comes into contact with the egg shock. This means that the stiffness of your turns changes suddenly rather than gradually. ALthough this sounds very negative, they do still make a difference to your trucks. However this is fairly minor in comparison to it\'s main rival. I recently put some Trampa Damper\'s in, which are slightly longer and different shaped to the MBS egg shocks. These really do make a huge difference to your trucks, and allow a far more progresive turn. Therefore i would recomend investing in a set of them. It is worth remembering that the Trampa Dampers are FAR stiffer then conventional eggs, and even their softest(yellow), are far stiffer than the hardest egg shocks.
