this leash came with my first board, i was glad to have it to be honest as i went to my local center and they told me it was a pure necessity! at the center i often found myself falling off my board going off the jumps and had it not been for this leash then my board would have rolled all the way to the bottom of the hill, and maybe collided with a fellow rider along the way. it might seem a bit pricey for \'just a bit of rope\' but its not only a bit of rope, its comfy around your ankle and doesnt make your leg jolt if your board runs away, but cushions the impact in the bungees. defenitely a must have for all beginners.
